KANTHO LID

€340.00

The Kantho Lid is a hyper-realistic, modular eyelid simulation tool developed by eyecre.at to support surgical training in oculoplastic and trauma-related eyelid procedures, particularly lateral canthotomy, cantholysis, and canthoplasty.

Designed in collaboration with reconstructive and trauma surgery experts, the Kantho Lid provides a high-fidelity anatomical representation of the lateral canthal complex, including layered simulation of the skin, orbicularis oculi muscle, lateral canthal tendon, and underlying orbital structures.

Benefits:

  • Hyper-Realistic Tactile Feedback simulates live-tissue resistance and handling

  • Reusable & Cost-Efficient – ideal for wetlabs, residency training, and surgical education programs

  • Reduces Learning Curve for emergency and elective lateral eyelid procedures

Key Features:

    • Simulates essential surgical planes for practicing incisions, dissection, and tendon release or repositioning.

    • Snap-fit or magnetically attached eyelid units allow for multi-session use in wetlabs and training courses.

    • Ideal for simulating time-sensitive procedures such as lateral canthotomy and cantholysis, often used in orbital compartment syndrome or trauma decompression.

    • Seamlessly integrates with existing Eye 4 Demo or Training Base systems for full orbital training context.

    • Enables instructors to demonstrate key techniques and allows learners to develop procedural confidence through repetition.

This product is made from photoreactive 3D-printed materials, which may stiffen in cold temperatures. To ensure the most realistic training experience, store the artificial eye at room temperature and avoid direct sunlight. Do not remove or wash the internal fluid; it is non-toxic, may leave oily stains, but is harmless to human skin.

NOT FOR MEDICAL OR HUMAN USE, NON-STERILE AND ONLY FOR DEMONSTRATION

Clinical Applications:

  • Lateral Canthotomy & Cantholysis (Emergency decompression)

  • Canthoplasty (Reconstructive lid tightening and repositioning)

  • Eyelid Trauma Management

  • Oculoplastic Surgery Techniques

  • Suture Training & Tendon Anchoring
